We use tweezers to pick up or extract small things. Humans have created different tools for specific tasks — and even for specific techniques, because for any given task there can be many different tools, the difference lying in the technique. And with imagination and creativity, humans can keep creating new tools and techniques.
Distractions are, in recent times, harder to avoid — and may be the main reason so many people are kept from their goals and their potential to invent or discover something.
Individualism and greed, sold as freedom, may be the main obstacles to building a brotherly society. And it is not about negating or submitting the individual to the group — that would be the extreme opposite of what we want to avoid. We should avoid both extremes. Within the frame of the Golden Rule, the individual and the group neither act nor fail to act in ways that hurt the individual. That is the point of alignment with the Golden Rule, and with the purpose of loving, serving, and seeking truth. So avoid using tweezers to pick up a single case and justify an extreme.
